Firstly, your claim that the GBC doesn't have control over the temple board because it appoints only two members is misleading.

Since Janmastami and Mahavidya recently wrote about New Vrindaban's Giant Prabhupada Statue (see "Point of Order" and "The Big Bang") I thought I might add my own two cents to the discussion.
