Upon our request, we have received a number of offers to take over the temporary hospice fund and we are in the process of interviewing some known fair minded, pro active and honest individuals. The Temporary Hospice will remain a branch of VRNDA (the Vaishnavi Retirement and Development Association www.vrnda.org).

What was probably 'the last straw on the camel's back', was when I was moving from the Los Angeles Hare Krishna Temple. I wanted to leave my apartment to a local devotee who is a paraplegic from the neck down in a wheel chair and who, according to Brighupati Prabhu, (the head book distributor in that temple) was at the time going out daily and distributing books and flowers on behalf of the temple.
