It is with fondness I remember Suhotra Prabhu, though I have had so many dealings with him in the past and if I would recall them all it would be far to entertaining. I will pay my obaisences to his feet and remember all the sincere devotional service he has rendered to Srila Prabhupada.

OJ Simpson and Kirtananda have one thing in common - They both never got punished in this life for murder. To what degree Radhanath Swami was involved may be hard to prove in court, unless many of the devotees that have claimed to know about this step up to testify to a District Attorney.

I have read your response to Janmastami das. Whatever his problems are, he did not murder someone. You did. I have actually read Sulocana's book just over the last 2 days and you know what, he fully exposes Kirtanananda of being a child molester.

I read the article by George Smith, Radhanath Para Paksa, and though I agree in principle with a lot of it, it really does not explain any of Radhanath Swami's current situation. In my article, Serving an Asura, I also question marked his past involvement...

I was carefully reading Tamohara Prabhu's response. Actually all the problems in ISKCON lie in the Guru issue. First of all, I would like to bring attention to one of Srila Prabhupada's very important purports about Guru and disciple, from Nectar of Instruction, text 5, purport: "When a person realizes himself to be an eternal servitor of Krishna, he loses interest in everything but Krishna's service.

It appears obvious to me that the best thing you can do is to resign as the Temple President for the Bhaktivedanta Manor. You have brought too much heat upon yourself that will only cause disgrace to Srila Prabhupada. Believe me, many devotees from all over the world will agree on this matter, and if you need a petition to get the idea, I suggest we do one here, and send the results to the GBC body.

This kind of 5 day fast is prescribed for the last 5 days of Kartika (Damodara) Month and it is known as "Bhisma Pancaka". During that vrata puja offerings to the Lord are also prescribed. For Bhisma Pancaka, devotees may offer the following to the Deity form of the Lord:

» Srila Prabhupada, Raman Reti, and His Letters

Today is such a sad day to remember as Srila Prabhupada disappeared from our external vision. One of the things that mitigates separation from Srila Prabhupada is reading his letters. I recall in Vrindavan, every day devotees put a letter on Srila Prabhupada's desk, and devotees after mangal artik would come to Srila Prabhupada's house and pay obeisances and chant there.

"Any householder devotee who is working full-time (with his wife) as a sankirtana book distributer, of temple managerial duties, artist, cook, etc. shall be provided food, shelter, and other bare minimum necessities by the temple itself. They should not cook their own meals separate from the temple meals. If they have children, then some minimal allowance may be given according to the number of children. If they want anything extra or over and above what the temple president sees as absolute necessity, then they should work outside--the temple cannot pay for anything beyond the bare necessities."
