I have some comments on recent articles that appeared in the Sun: “Searching for Sadhu? Danger Ahead” by Rocana dasa, “Murali Krishna Swami and his Guru Decoder Ring Sampradaya”, “Umapati Swami Tries to Rewrite his History” by Navadvipchandra dasa, and “How and Why the Gaudiya Matha Failed” by Kshamabuddhi dasa.
My comment is: Very well done, Prabhus. All glory to your forthrightness. I applaud everything you wrote. In fact, many of your points that touch my area of experience I could not have put better myself. I keenly look forward to your future comments and I thank you for giving me inspiration to also write some of my long suppressed feelings for the assembled Vaisnavas to read.
For too long the culture of pretense, cover-ups and lies has poisoned Prabhupada’s legacy. All of us, his disciples, are getting old, death can come at any moment. Time to stand up and be counted. Time to tear out the homosexual predators and their apologists, the liars, the cheaters, the pretenders and the rogues who desecrate our house. Time to call it as it is, to demand accountability so we can see who is stealing or has stolen what. Time to demand that our leaders in the GBC, sannyasa and guru ranks walk the talk and if you can’t or wont, then be sure we will hound you into your next body.
We may not have the sword, but by God, we have the pen!
Your servant in the service of Srila Prabhupada,
Ananda Svarupa dasa
