This year there's a unique and inspiring way to observe Srila Prabhupada's Disappearance Day on October 25/26th.

ISKCON Cinema is releasing DVD #1 of the digitally enhanced and updated chronological series of Srila Prabhupada's films entitled, "Following Srila Prabhupada".

DVD #1 contains all the available films of Srila Prabhupada from 1965 (at Ananda Ashram) to 1970 (Ratha-yatra in London). There are 3 audio tracks to choose from: one with Srila Prabhupada and his disciples singing, one with Srila Prabhupada lecturing and one of the remembrances of devotees who were there at the time of filming. Their firsthand accounts combined with the films give the viewer a deeper understanding of how Srila Prabhupada attracted the first devotees and established his Krishna consciousness movement.

Yadubara das, the project Director, and his team have worked for 5 years on the series and will be releasing one DVD every 2 months for a total of 10, each about 2 1/2 hours in length. Yadubara das showed a pre-release version of the DVD in the Vancouver temple on Vyasa Puja evening. Devotees sat through the entire show—even up to the end of the credits. Here are some comments:
