The Varnasrama Book which will be on everything that Srila Prabhupada said about varnasrama is progressing.

Yesterday I finished going through the third canto of Srimad Bhagavatam and now I am going through the 1974 conversations.

Although originally I was thinking of just going through the third canto of Bhagavatam and the lectures Srila Prabhupada gave on the third canto, now I have decided to also add to that the conversations and letters of 1974 for the first volume of the Varnasrama book. Also I have decided to include in that volume everything that Srila Prabhupada said about varnasrama, instead of only some varnas or asramas of which I was also originally thinking of doing.

So the first phase of the project, of going through the books and finding all the quotes about varnasrama is as follows:

Srimad Bhagavatam lectures of the third canto - done
Srimad Bhagavatam translations and purports - done
1974 Conversations - work in progress
1974 letters - yet to be done

Projected release of volume one of the varnasrama book - On or before Feb. 14, 2007, 30 years after Srila Prabhupada gave that important conversation on varnasrama.

Conversation on February 14, 1977:

Hari-sauri: I just remember two or three years ago there was a thing... A pamphlet came out about introducing the varnasrama system in the society, but actually nothing came of it.
Prabhupada: Yes. That time was not right. Now you can do something.
