'Krishna-aayo Natkhat Nandlala', a 3D animation film on the childhood heroics of Lord Krishna will be released on September 29.

Producer of the film, dubbed as India's first 3D animation film, Jayantilal Gada told reporters that many generations in India have grown up hearing the stories of super heroes from the Indian mythology, but none of them could be seen on the Indian screen as an animated character, which appealed various generations at a time.

"We have always quenched our thirst by watching the foreign heroes like Spider Man, Super Man, He Man on the screen in animated form. There was no Indian hero whom we could admire. The wait was over with Hanuman, which was released last year," he said.

Hanuman and now Krishna are not new or imaginary heroes but true ones. "Krishna brings smile and pride on faces of young or old, man or woman, rich and poor merely by chanting his name.

Director Aman Khan said, 'Krishna' is a richly animated, musical feature film that tells the story of Lord Krishna's birth, his childhood spent in Vrindavan and his slaying of Kansa, the evil ruler of Mathura.

The film features various adventures of his childhood, including his clashes with demons like 'Pootna' and 'Trinavarat'. This animated feature also brings to life Lord Krishna's naughty aspects like stealing butter, and other adventures.

Another enchanting aspect of Lord Krishna's life-playing the flute and the 'gopis', who become eternally devoted to him and indulged in 'Ras Leela', has been depicted in the film.

The director said over centuries Lord Krishna's stories have entertained and inspired several generations of children and grown-ups. His life story is a great source of inspiration and shall entertain, inspire and excite everyone, everywhere, every time.

The film features music and songs composed by Rajendra Shiv. The soundtrack of the film features leading singers of the industry like Kailash Kher, Sonu Nigam, Sukhwinder Singh, Sunidhi Chauhan, Alisha Chinai and Kumar Sanu. The compositions have an everlasting flavor and shall definitely appeal to all, he added.
